Police have detained four people for staging a crime scene to film a video on social media.
They used fake blood and acted as if a real crime had occurred in order to shock people and gain more views and followers.
When folks nearby observed the false crime scene, they assumed something awful had happened and phoned the cops right away.
When police came, they discovered that the scenario was staged for a video. The police swiftly apprehended all four people and detained them for interrogation.
They may face legal consequences for instilling terror and disrupting the peace in a public place.
A similar incident occurred a few days earlier in Karnataka, where two guys were arrested for creating a fake murder video for Instagram.
That video also terrified people and squandered police resources. The police have cautioned everyone not to create such phoney videos, as they might generate panic and disrupt public order.
Police have stated that anyone who engages in such behaviour in order to achieve popularity on social media will face severe consequences.
