Srinagar, November 28: Tremors were detected in Jammu and Kashmir after a 5.0 magnitude earthquake shook the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region on Thursday late afternoon.
According to Kashmir weather, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region on November 28 at approximately 4:19 PM.The epicentre was at a depth of 209 km, with coordinates 71.32°E longitude and 36.62°N latitude.
The shocks were felt powerfully in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, according to the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO), no casualties or property damage have so far been reported—(KNO)
