“We have clearly stated to the officials that we are elected representatives who are answerable to the public.
They, too, are answerable to the public. He stated that it is now the reign of the people, democracy, and the impoverished.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion of a surprise visit to PWD in Jammu, Choudhary stated that looting rivers in Jammu and Kashmir will not be tolerated.
He went on to say that the sand and stone extraction would only benefit the poor.
“The government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to upholding accountability.
“We were elected by the government, and no one will be allowed to commit any misconduct,” he stated. He stated that accountability will be guaranteed in all departments, and the government is committed to proving its words on the ground.
Pertinently, Choudhary made a surprise visit to PWD office, Jammu, wherein he gave strict directions to the officers to ensure cleanliness within the office and also ensure the proper use of biometric attendance.
