Kulgam police have arrested three people and seized four vehicles on February 11 as part of a crackdown on illegal mineral extraction and trafficking.
A police detachment from Mirbazar created a Naka near Nowpora and confiscated four vehicles (two Tippers and two Tractors) used for illicit mineral extraction and transportation, as well as three people (drivers) implicated in the crime.
As a result, a case under the relevant parts of the law has been recorded at the Qazigund Police Station, and further investigation has begun. Community members are asked to come forward or call *Dial-112* if they have any knowledge about unlawful mineral-related activity in their vicinity.
