Tensions rose after Lalit Sharma of the Hindu Raksha Dal issued an open threat, asking that all Kashmiri Muslims leave Uttarakhand by Thursday. “Our teams will go on rounds and deal with any Kashmiri Muslim in their own way,” he warned in a widely shared video.
Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir, stated that he is constantly following the situation. ‘The J&K administration is in contact with the governments of the states where these reports are coming from.
