Bandipora, April 8: On Tuesday morning, a woman’s body was discovered at Nallah Modo Mati in Sonarwani, North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The dead has been identified as Jani Begum (30), the wife of Nawab Chowan, a Nigeenpora Athwotoo inhabitant who has been missing since yesterday. Following her disappearance, a missing report was filed at the relevant police station.
Officials informed JKNS that when the body was recovered, police commenced the proper legal steps. The cause of death has yet to be determined, and further investigation is underway, he stated. —(JKNS)
