A sorrowful occurrence occurred Thursday afternoon in the Humpatri region of D.H. Pora, Kulgam, when a family land dispute between two brothers turned fatal.
Khushbu Jan, Mohammad Ashraf Lone’s 18-year-old daughter, was tragically killed during the scuffle.
Locals stated that a property dispute developed into a physical altercation. Khushbu Jan suffered significant injuries while attempting to assist and was transported to a local hospital, where she was tragically pronounced dead.
Police have taken note of the occurrence and have initiated the required legal proceedings, including a postmortem examination.
