An old interview with Shah Rukh Khan has gone viral on social media, in which he discusses an odd episode from his marriage to Gauri.
In an old program, Shah Rukh joked that on Gauri’s first day at her in-laws’ house after marriage, he urged her to put on a burqa and change her name to Ayesha.
According to Shah Rukh, they were all communicating in Punjabi at the time.Looking back, I jokingly remarked, “Gauri, put on your burqa, and let’s go pray.”
Shah Rukh admitted it was inappropriate for him to make such a joke in front of his wife’s relatives.
